Affordable Connectivity Outreach Grant Program – Jan 9
Posted by Federal Communications Commission on November 29, 2022
Earlier this month, the Federal Communications Commission released a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Affordable Connectivity Outreach Grant Program. The NOFO details information and application procedures associated with up to $60 million for the National Competitive Outreach Program (NCOP) and $10 million for the Tribal Competitive Outreach Program (TCOP).
The ACP Outreach Grant Program seeks to expand innovative outreach efforts nationwide by strengthening partner networks and empowering them with the resources necessary to increase program awareness and enrollment – with a focus on reaching historically unserved and underserved populations.
Application Submission Deadline: January 9, 2023, 11:59 p.m. EST
In addition to the release of the Affordable Connectivity Outreach Grant Program NOFO, the FCC announced the first of a series of live webinars associated with the ACP Outreach Grant Program.
The first webinar was Nov 15th. A recording of the webinar is available here: https://www.fcc.gov/news-events/events/archived
The webinar provided a detailed overview of the NOFO and how to navigate the application process and the required forms. The webinar also reviewed best practices to help applicants scope a project, prepare a budget, and what to expect after submitting a proposal.
