Advancing Workforce Solutions for North Philadelphia is an opportunity for individuals to come back together to further shape workforce development strategies for North Philadelphia residents, based on a comprehensive understanding of the economic development landscape for Philadelphia. This event is open to community residents and leaders, volunteers and staff of community, faith and non-profit organizations and Temple University, as well as representatives of government agencies and employers. The agenda includes the following:
8:30 AM to 9:00 AM Registration and Networking (continental breakfast

9:00 AM to 9:30 AM Welcome and Introductions
9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Advancing Workforce Solutions (presentation by the
Economy League)
11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Challenges and Opportunities: Workforce
Development from an Employer Perspective
12:00 PM to 1:30 PM Investing in Workforce Development
Strategies(presentation on funding opportunities)
1:30 PM to 2:00 PM Wrap Up and Networking (lunch provided)
