Advancing the Civic Purposes of Higher Education in a Changing Environment
August 3-4, 2017
The Ohio State University
Our theme was selected in response to the current political environment for the practice and promotion of civic learning and democratic engagement in higher education. We hope to engage participants in dialog and learning about best practices, challenges, opportunities, and capacity building. Our aim is to prepare practitioners and faculty members to continue advancing a campus wide culture of civic learning and democratic engagement.
