Adult Mentors Needed for Building Bridges Youth Mentoring Program
Posted by West Kensington Ministry on July 2, 2019
Building Bridges is a one-on-one community-based mentoring program for youth ages 10-16 from the Kensington neighborhood areas. We are a relatively new program that launched last year after careful design from our research consultant who has extensive history in youth programing. Mentoring is a highly rewarding experience but at times can be tough. We understand! Our program provides trainings and support for our mentors, both before and after they are matched with a young person. We also provide assistance with getting all applicable clearances necessary for working with youth. We want to make it as fun and easy as possible for our mentors, since we recognize the challenging but also amazing work they do within their mentoring relationships.
For more information on becoming a mentor, please contact Amy Yang, our Mentoring Director at [email protected] or 215-834-1319.
