ADULT ESL TEACHER TRAINING COURSE
Learn the art of teaching English right in the heart of Center City. The Education Department at NSC is now offering a 100-hour training course for teachers of English as a second language. Unlike other TESOL training courses, we focus on the unique needs of adults in the ESL classroom. After the nine week course, you make your foray into the classroom. We’ll place you as a teacher in one of our ESL classes, and we’ll provide ongoing guidance and feedback. If you’ve ever considered teaching English before, here is your opportunity!
Our 100-hour Certification Course includes:
50 hours of in-class training
50 hours of practical experience as an adult ESL teacher at NSC
3 observations with detailed feedback from our experienced professional faculty
The cost for this course is $650 including cost of materials. 2014 Classes will run from June 23rd to August 27th. Gain practical experience during our Fall 2014 Session.
WE WELCOME FORMER AND CURRENT VOLUNTEER TEACHERS!
