Adult Basic Ed volunteers needed, Community Learning Center

The Community Learning Center, a nonprofit literacy organization providing free Adult Basic Education and General Educational Development (GED) classes for low-income adults, needs volunteers to provide individual instruction during regular class time. Classes are held week-day mornings and afternoons in North Philadelphia, Center City, and West Philadelphia locations. Volunteers ordinarily choose one class to assist once a week.
