Administrative Support Assistant – Penn State Brandywine, Center for Ethics & Civic Engagement

Penn State Brandywine is seeking a part-time (20 hours/week) Administrative Support Assistant for its Center for Ethics and Civic Engagement. This position provides administrative support to the Center. Primary responsibilities include maintaining the Center’s civic engagement database; assisting in various campus events including the MLK Day Celebration, Annual Social Justice Fair, and faculty workshops; reconciling timesheets for the Community-Based Federal Work-Study Program; supporting Director administrative requests; distributing mailings; preparing documents; composing written correspondence; reconciling purchasing card; and performing other duties as assigned by the Director. College degree or relevant experience preferred. This position handles confidential information and correspondence, and the successful candidate must be able to use discretion in carrying out assigned duties. Candidates must possess excellent attention to detail, demonstrate proficiency in Office Word and Excel, have experience with databases, have a customer service background, and be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
