JOB OPPORTUNITY
Administrative Manager ? Center for Intergenerational Learning, Temple University
The Administrative Manager will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the administrative and clerical support work for the Center, as well as providing administrative support to the Executive Director and two other project staff: the Director of Research and the Coming of Age Director. The Administrative Manager will serve as a liaison between the Executive Director and the staff of the center; oversee center-wide publicity and outreach functions; coordinate the development and maintenance of center-wide databases; arrange conferences, forums, retreats and other special events. Other duties as required.
Required Education and Experience:
Two years of college plus 4 years office management or high level administrative experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills and Abilities:
* Strong time management and organizational skills.
* Excellent attention to detail to facilitate accurate proposal submission.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage a full workload.
* Working knowledge/experience with wordprocessing and databases.
* Excellent written and verbal skills.
Preferred:
* Proficiency with the following Microsoft products: Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Publisher.
* Extensive supervisory experience.
