Position Overview
Council for Relationships is a nonprofit organization with the mission to help people understand, respect and improve the quality of the important relationships in their lives by providing unsurpassed clinical care, research, education and training.
The Administration and Development Associate, a full-time position reporting to the Director of Administration, is responsible for administrative and data-related tasks supporting three areas: Client Care, Marketing and Development. Additional responsibilities include development and other communications activities.
Responsibilities
Client Care-Related
• Format, print and distribute monthly client statements and invoices
• Format and distribute clinician revenue sheets
• Provide office directors with monthly reports
Marketing-Related
• Manage the Council’s mailing/email lists, including databases, etc.
• Create and order business cards for staff
• Post text to the website calendar
• Assist with creating and processing on-line forms
• Ensure that website purchases are communicated to administrative and fiscal teams
• Distribute press releases as needed
Development-Related
• Mail merge and process annual giving and other letter campaigns
• Maintain donor database and files to guarantee quality of communication/records
• Process donations with quick turnaround on gift acknowledgement letters
• Assist in preparing grant applications and submitting with all required attachments
• Assist in preparing materials for major donor gift solicitations
• Ensure reporting requirements for foundation and other funders are met
• Assist in planning and implementing Council’s fundraising events
• Assist with creating and coordinating email campaigns
• Ensure that Council for Relationships information on Guidestar and other electronic information sources is accurate and up-to-date
• Assist with website updates and maintenance as possible
• Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-2 years’ of administrative and/or development work experience
• Advanced skills with Word and Excel; experience with database systems
• Experience with a website content management system a plus
• Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail; interest in taking initiative
• Availability to attend evening and weekend meetings/events as needed
