Adjunct Professor, Marketing, Philadelphia Center

Posted by Philadelphia Center on May 25, 2015

The Philadelphia Center is seeking a part-time adjunct faculty member to teach their Fall 2015 undergraduate Marketing course. The course will meet one evening per week for approximately three hours. The Fall Semester will run from the week of August 31 through the week of December 7. The contract may be renewed for the Spring Semester. Masters or Ph.D. in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field required. Professional and prior teaching experience preferred.

This course will serve as an introduction to the principles, concepts, strategy, and tactics of marketing. It will provide an overview of marketing – the empathetic art of building relationships between products and services, and unique consumers, business, and markets. Abstract theory and concepts will be brought to life by case studies, examples, evaluating marketing, creating and executing ideas, and grappling with current trends, ethics and controversies of modern marketing. In addition, this course may consider other disciplines as part of the marketing mix, including public relations and advertising.

The Philadelphia Center is an experience-based academic undergraduate program, founded and recognized by the Great Lakes Colleges Association and managed by Hope College.
