The West Philadelphia Promise Zone’s Public Safety Committee presents a virtual two part series addressing community trauma. This event is open to everyone, but will be focused on neighborhoods within the Promise Zone, including Belmont, Mill Creek, Mantua, and West Powelton/Powelton Village.
Community members share stories about the impact of living and working in a violent environment
An open discussion between community residents and law enforcement on the experience of living and working in a violent environment. The conversation will include a presentation on gun violence in Philadelphia by a subject matter expert. All attendees are invited to participate and share on the personal impact of violence in their communities.
