Student Environmental Action Coalition (SEAC) is a student and youth run national network of progressive organizations and individuals whose aim is to uproot environmental injustices through action and education. They define "environment" very broadly, to include the physical, economic, political and cultural conditions in which we live. The formed in 1988, and have been doing some really amazing work. Over the past several months, they have been heavily involved in projects to support the anti-war movement. Their national office is located in West Philadelphia. If you are eligible for workstudy, they can arrange to have you paid to work with them!
For more information, contact Jason Fults at 215-222-4711 or ncc@seac.org,
or visit the SEAC website: http://www.seac.org.
–SEAC is still looking for work-studies/interns from Philly-area schools.
Why not get PAID to do some of the organizing that you’re already involved
with? If you’re eligible for workstudy and would be interested in this,
please let Jason know.
