We recently were awarded a contract from the Philadelphia Office of Supportive Housing to provide additional supportive services to victims including the operation of a new 100 bed Domestic Violence Safe Haven. As a result of this significant growth in our agency operations, we are excited to announce the creation of for this NEW opportunity.
The Accounting Manager is responsible for executing the agency’s accounting, financial transaction, and financial reporting functions in accordance with established accounting principles, practices and procedures and funder requirements. Responsibilities will include supervising the day to day accounting functions; preparing monthly reports; overseeing the payroll activities and records payroll related journal entries; assisting with the annual audit and budget preparations; ensuring all records and reports are complete in accordance with WAA standards; managing and updating finance forms, policies and procedures; and working collaboratively and communicating with other departments to ensure smooth operations. The Accounting Manager will directly supervise a Senior Accountant and an Accounts Payable Accountant. All responsibilities are implemented according to our mission and vision and according to Agency standards.
