Posted by Access Engineering on September 1, 2026
Access Engineering is a school-recognized free engineering education program run by University of Pennsylvania college students. Our mission is to cultivate Philadelphia high school students’ interest in engineering and demonstrate their capability to make meaningful change, while providing mentorship for post-high school life.
Our lessons will be held on Penn’s campus on Saturday mornings from 10am – 1:30pm for 7 weeks. Our schedule has lessons starting on October 10th and ending on December 5th. Our application is currently due on September 28th at 11:59 PM. We provide SEPTA keys for students as well as lunch each lesson day. More information on the club can be found here.
In addition, we will be holding a virtual information session for any parents, students, or teachers interested in learning more about our program before the application is due. This will be on Saturday, September 19th at 11 AM. Here is the link to sign up for the session.
