STEM Funder’s Network Executive Director Errika Moore is an engineer by profession, but philanthropy is her passion.
Errika earned her Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, built an impressive career working for companies such as IBM, BMC Software, and the Southwire Company, and is now thriving in her role as the first SFN’s first Executive Director.
In the latest installment of Jan’s Jams, TIES founder Jan Morrison sat down with Errika to discuss access and equity in STEM; the National Science Foundation’s call to to tear down barriers to STEM access in minority and underserved communities; how family engagement in STEM education helps pave career pathways for children; and how cultivating robust STEM communities benefits everyone.
