The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation is granting $35,000 to research and intervention related to childhood obesity. Please consider applying by July 1st. For more information on the opportunity, see this site.
Purpose/Objective
The Foundation encourages submission of applications from Academy Members that explore lifestyle interventions which can reduce the risk of development of childhood overweight and obesity by focusing on nutrition and physical activity.
Funds Available
A one year grant of up to $35,000 is available to Academy Members.
Eligible Institutions
For-profit or non-profit acute care hospitals or acute-care healthcare systems.
Public or private institutions, such as universities, colleges and physician practice groups.
Key Dates
July 1, 2013 – Application deadline
November 1, 2013 – Award decision (announcement at FNCE)
