McCarthey Dressman Education Foundation Invites Applications for Academic Enrichment Grants
The McCarthey Dressman Education Foundation is dedicated to helping students and teachers develop interests, strategies, and skills needed to enhance society.
The foundation is accepting applications for its Academic Enrichment Grants program, which will award grants of up to $10,000 per year for up to three years in support of programs that nurture the intellectual, artistic, and creative abilities of children from low-income households. Grants are designed to develop in-class and extra-curricular programs that improve student learning. The foundation will consider proposals that foster understanding, deepen students’ knowledge, and provide opportunities to expand students’ awareness of the world around them.
To be eligible, applicants must be educators employed by schools or nonprofit organizations (e.g. community centers, museums, etc.) who have direct and regular contact with students in grades pre-K to 12. Letters of recommendation are required for both grant and scholarship applications.
For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the McCarthey Dressman Education Foundation website.
Deadline: April 15, 2021
