Philadelphia VIP’s LawWorks Project is co-sponsoring a free Pfizer workshop for nonprofit executives on The ABCs of the Law: What Your Nonprofit Needs to Know.
The seminar will be hosted by DLA Piper at 1650 Market Street on June 6th from 10:30am to 3:30pm and will focus on the basics of running a nonprofit by the books, contracts and employment law. Examples of topics to be discussed include how to conduct board meetings, what to look for in everyday contracts and independent contractors versus employees. Lunch is provided.
