Late last month, the Commission on the Future of Undergraduate Education at the American Academy of Arts & Sciences released a data-rich report untangling the many backgrounds, pathways, and challenges of today’s undergraduate students. “A Primer on the College Student Journey” highlights college access and suggests that the attainment gap may be changing.
