Program information for Dealing with Covert Processes June 6- 11, 2010
Dealing with Covert Processes is offered through NTL Institute as an advanced 6-day workshop for individuals to help them better address the hidden dimensions of individuals, groups and organizations that can limit performance and block change. Some examples of these hidden dimensions include organizational politics, unexpressed emotions, untapped inspirations, blocking mindsets, and the impacts of unconscious dynamics. All of these hidden processes limit choice, block creativity, and trap individuals, groups, and organizations in repetitive and often self-defeating behavior patterns. The overall purpose of the workshop is to empower participants to develop more effective ways to create change, excellence, and high performance in themselves and their organizations.

Bob Marshak, a global consultant, NTL Institute Faculty who is currently scholar in residence for the AU/NTL Masters of Science in OD Program at American University will host a a special event on the hidden dimensions of organizational change. Join us for a peek into Dr. Marshak’s thinking and advice about dealing with covert processes and organizational change. The ideas will be drawn from his recent book, Covert Process at Work: Managing the Five Hidden Dimensions of Organizational Change, Berrett-Koehler, 2006.
