A Conversation About Women in the Nonprofit Workplace
Posted by Montgomery County Foundation on November 3, 2014
Event focuses on women in nonprofits
A decade of research has consistently confirmed a persistent troubling truth: women make up the majority of the regional nonprofit workforce and are both under-paid (earning 74% of what a male counterpart makes in this field) and under- represented in the leadership of large organizations.
The Montgomery County Foundation seeks to shed light on the issues with a discussion, The 74% Initiative: A Conversation About Women in the Nonprofit Workplace, on Wednesday, December 10th from 8:30 am-2:00 pm at the DoubleTree Suites, 640 Fountain Road in Plymouth Meeting.

The event will feature a presentation by Peggy Outon of the Bayer Nonprofit Center.
