9th Grade Commitment Ceremony
Posted by South Philadelphia High School on September 19, 2016
South Philadelphia High School will host the SECOND Annual Commitment Ceremony celebration for all 9th grade students in an effort to promote a 4-Year High School Diploma. This ceremony will honor high school freshmen students’ commitment to excellence, and celebrate the school community’s support to help their efforts for a successful future. Students will sign a “Commitment Pledge,” to complete all necessary course requirements to graduate from South Philadelphia High School in 4 years, in 2020. Parents, teachers, community leaders, and partners will recognize the students that have made a written commitment to graduate from high school, in the First Annual Commitment Ceremony as their first step towards a path of excellence. This event will be held at 9:30 AM, in South Philadelphia High School’s Auditorium.
