Posted by Media Education Lab on March 9, 2021
We are thrilled to open registration for the 9th Annual Summer Institute in Digital Literacy, the nation’s premiere professional development program, which will be held online July 11 – 16, 2021. This summer, we’re welcoming participants from around the country and around the world. With rich content and a flexible schedule, this online learning program will advance your leadership in digital literacy. Plus, registration is only $400, and you can receive graduate credit to apply to the University of Rhode Island Graduate Certificate in Digital Literacy (or any another academic degree program) for only $800.
This summer, spend a week with Renee Hobbs and Julie Coiro as they consider the ever-changing nature of digital literacy. Explore the implications of this ongoing cultural shift as it affects teaching and learning, from kindergarten to graduate school.
Take time for your own learning July 11 – 16th and join this unique hands-on, minds-on program where everyone learns from everyone. You will gain new skills, for sure. You will gain new knowledge –as well as practical strategies that you can apply to your work. Most importantly, you will have time to create and curate media that you can use! Plus, you’ll make lasting collegial relationships and become part of a warm and supportive online learning community!
