City sets annual spring cleanup
The 7th Annual Philly Spring Cleanup is set for Saturday, April 5th, from 9am to 2pm.
This is the official kickoff to Philadelphia’s cleaning season, and residents are encouraged to come out and help rid Philadelphia of litter. In 2013, more than 13,000 volunteers helped collect over a million pounds of trash and recycling across the city, making it the biggest event to date.
Now is a great time for you to get involved and do your part to help make Philadelphia’s streets cleaner and safer. Cleanup stations are located throughout the City, and volunteers are needed at cleanup stations throughout the city.
Project registration is now open. To submit a project, go here.
