2020 Veterans Day Live Stream Celebration in Media – Nov 11
Posted by U. S. Veterans Legarcy Project on November 10, 2020
On Wednesday, November 11, 2020, the Media Veterans Day Parade, the largest and oldest Veterans Day Parade in Pennsylvania, will be held as a virtual event. The Pennsylvania Bar Association Pro Bono Office is happy to support the parade organizers to help make the virtual experience a fitting reminder of the service of our Veterans. The 2020 Veterans Day Celebration honors all of those who have served the country in war or peace — dead or alive — although it’s largely intended to thank living veterans for their sacrifices.
The absence of a parade will make things look a little different in 2020, but we are excited to that the 2020 Veterans Day celebration will have many of the unique experiences that make Media the place to be each November 11th. There will be patriotic songs, a harmonica rendition by a nonagenarian Vet (that is someone in their 90s), student essays, and…
The Veterans Legacy Project will be broadcasting the program live via Youtube on November 11th. The official ceremony will start at 11:11 am. We encourage you to join us starting at 10:45 am, when we will show a highlight video of past parades.s, and better understanding America’s most cherished values of freedom and democracy.
