Our Closet provides free clothing to people in need, without question or judgement. Our goal is to create a space where community members can fulfill their basic needs with pride and dignity.

Our Closet’s Approach to Service
Our Closet recognizes that many vulnerable community members are struggling to make ends meet.

By providing free, quality clothing to community members in need, Our Closet hopes to meet a basic need for its shoppers so that they can better focus on handling other stressors in their lives. And, through strategic partnerships with like-minded agencies, we hope to create a powerful network that can provide our shoppers with the wraparound supports they need.

Our Pop-Up Shops
Every week, Our Closet sets up pop-up clothing shops that simulate a unique shopping experience for community members. Partner-provided spaces are transformed into mini “boutiques” complete with tables, hanging racks, mirrors, and a check out counter. Our stores are volunteer-run, and individuals throughout the Greater Philadelphia region have generously donated the clothing that we provide. Shoppers are entitled to select up to five items free of charge, and with no eligibility requirements, shoppers are welcome to visit Our Closet as many times as they need.

Volunteer: See Our Closet in action at one of our pop-up shops or at our warehouse. We accept school and corporate groups as well!

Donate: Clean out your closet or host a clothing drive benefitting Our Closet. Donating just few pieces of clothing can make a huge difference for Our Closet shoppers.
