Posted by Steppingstone Scholars Inc. Philadelphia on February 06, 2012
Step Into College: Philadelphia’s Pre-College Conference is back for 2015 to serve students, counselors, and parents!
This annual conference is hosted by University of the Sciences and coordinated by Steppingstone Scholars, University of the Sciences, Office of City Councilwoman Blondell Reynolds Brown, and the School District of Philadelphia. It includes workshops on college admissions, career development, and financial aid as well as resource fairs and other guest speakers. The conference is free and open to specific School District high schools (grades 10-12) on Friday, Mar. 6 and open citywide to the general public (grades 8-12) on Saturday, Mar. 7.
We invite all PCPR network members to spread the word for Saturday, Mar. 7 to students and parents across Greater Philadelphia. You may use the attached flyer for recruitment purposes and all attendees can register here: https://step-into- college-2015-march7. eventbrite.com. We hope to accommodate over 200 families registering on a first-come, first-serve basis. Walk-in groups are welcome, but those who register have first priority to attend workshops on the day of the conference.
For your reference, you can also find the working draft subject to edits of our Saturday conference schedule to see our programming. Thank you for the team effort to have students attend to this citywide event!
