TPF offers funds for interns
The Weinberg Family Internship Fund, a donor-advised fund of The Philadelphia Foundation, has announced grants to support nonprofit organizations in the Greater Philadelphia area to provide internship stipends to qualified undergraduate and/or graduate college students.
The Fund will accept applications from nonprofit organizations in the Greater Philadelphia area focused on arts and culture and women’s reproductive health.
It is the intent of the grant to provide support for students who might otherwise be required to seek paid employment.
The purpose of these grants is to benefit students and organizations by providing qualified college students access to internship opportunities; providing funded internship opportunities to qualified undergraduate and/or graduate college students to learn about working with nonprofit organizations; and allowing organizations to benefit from the skills, perspective and enthusiasm of college students.
The grants are also intended to build the capacity of the organization to create and/or expand existing internship programs.
Selected organizations (up to three) will receive at least $16,000 to award at least four intern stipends providing $4,000 per intern.
Applications are due by November 7th. To download the application, go here. (Provided link not working; please use email address below).
