3rd Annual Thanksgiving Open House
Thursday, November 15th between 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Mayor’s Office of Education, Mayor’s Office of Arts Culture and the Creative Economy, Mayor’s Office of Civic Engagement and Volunteer Service, City Hall Tours and the Philadelphia Youth Commission
For over 20 years, the African Daughters of Fine Lineage have hosted an event on Thanksgiving Day where men, women and children in need are invited to have a hot meal and receive care packages of donated items and non-perishable food.
Open House attendees are encouraged to bring donations of the following items to be distributed on Thanksgiving:
•Juice boxes and cans of soda
•Individually wrapped snacks like granola and candy bars
•Cold weather items-boots, coats and sleeping bags
•Colored underwear (men’s & women’s, esp. larger sizes)
•Toiletries, including toothbrushes and toothpaste, deodorant and other personal hygiene items
