If you are a community member or parent already supporting a Philadelphia neighborhood public school via a Friends group or other similar organization, you won’t want to miss this free opportunity to learn, share, and network among your peers from across the City.
Our theme this year is building inclusive, diverse, and sustainable education ecosystems at the neighborhood level.
Proposed workshop topics include starting and building a Friends group; working with educators; supporting healthy school climates; and fundraising & grant-writing. We are also planning a plenary discussion on diversity & inclusion.
All of those assigned a ticket through Eventbrite will be contacted with follow-up correspondence to confirm attendance and collect pre-registration information.
