This year’s conference will explore an array of important food policy issues facing consumers and the food industry, including a review of the primary food policy activities under the Obama Administration and what’s yet to come, a discussion of how to design a national food policy, and an exploration of how consumers acquire and process information about food.

An exciting line-up of panel discussions has been added to the agenda covering topics such as the latest Dietary Guidelines report, use by/sell by dates, meat and poultry safety, improving child nutrition, implementing the Food Safety Modernization Act, consumer perspectives on food and technology, and the key issues facing farmers today.
