25th Annual Technology in Adult Education Conference

Calling all adult literacy teachers, tutors, site administrators and adult education community stakeholders!
The Mayor’s Commission on Literacy and Temple University’s Center for Social Policy and Community Development host the 25th Annual Technology in Adult Education Conference on Friday May 17, 2013, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, at Temple University’s main campus in Philadelphia PA. Our theme this year is: “Technology: The New Norm in Adult Education”.
The objective of this year’s conference is to train and/or inspire participants to integrate technology into adult literacy operations, instruction, and programming. Topics may include:
- Learning Accommodations and Learning Differences
- Literacy software
- Incorporating technology in ABE, GED and ESL instruction
- Using online Learning Communities
- Distance Learning
- Workforce, and much more.
Expect a full day of workshops that are ‘hands-on” and interactive, enjoy local and state-wide vendors that will display their technology products and services that will enhance the adult learning experience, and network with your peers in the adult literacy field.
