21st Century Community Learning Centers Regional Trainings

The Pennsylvania Department of Education, in partnership with the Center for Schools and Communities, is sponsoring three regional trainings for 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) afterschool providers, supporters, and K-12 educators in your region. These trainings will provide participants with the opportunity to explore the exigent circumstances influencing our student’s educational experiences, including building strong relationships with families and creating positive afterschool climates through a focus on resiliency and positive behavior support.

Registration and continental breakfast at all three locations will begin at 8:30 AM with the concurrent workshops beginning at 9:00 AM.  Lunch will be provided.

April 28, 2011 Southeast Region
Radisson Hotel Valley Forge and Convention Center

King of Prussia, PA 19406

April 29, 2011 Central Region
Holiday Inn Harrisburg East
4751 Lindle Road
Harrisburg, PA 17111

May 10, 2011 Southwest Region
Radisson Hotel Pittsburgh Green Tree

Pittsburgh, PA 15205

Online registration and workshop descriptions are available on the 21st CCLC website at http://www.21stcclc.org.   Participants will be able to choose which of the aforementioned locations they would like to attend during the registration process.

Travel and lodging arrangements are the responsibility of participants. There is no registration fee to attend these events.  Act 48 and CBK Keystone Stars credits will be available.  Please share these professional
