AmeriCorps is pleased to announce the Fiscal Year 2027 AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP Competition Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO). Since 1971, RSVP has engaged older Americans in volunteer service that meets national and local needs and delivers lasting, meaningful results to those communities. With this NOFO, AmeriCorps intends to fund successful applicants that increase the impact of volunteers ages 55 and older who provide volunteer service in response to local community needs.

Eligible applicants include public agencies, government entities within states or territories (e.g., cities, counties), institutes of higher education, Indian tribes, and private, non-profit organizations, both secular and faith-based.
The AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP competition runs over a three-year period, with FY 2027 being the third and final year of new awards. Incumbent grantees with a 24SR grant number must submit an application in response to the FY 2027 Competition Notice and be selected to maintain funding. If incumbent grantees with a 24SR grant number fail to apply or be selected for funding, their current grants will end on March 31, 2027.
Deadline: Applications are due no later than Tuesday, October 20, 5 p.m. ET.
