We are excited to announce the program for the 2026 CUMU (Coalition of Urban and Metropolitan Universities) Conference: Anchored In Purpose, November 8-11, 2026, in Houston, TX. This year’s theme explores how purpose-driven strategies — rooted in place and responsive to community needs — advance social and economic mobility for students, support regional prosperity, and enhance community well-being. With 100+ presentations, keynotes, workshops and community experiences, the program offers fresh ideas, practical strategies and meaningful connections for those driving place-based impact.
