2025 Higher Education Suicide Prevention Coalition Conference: A Decade of Prevention & Connection – May 28-29
Posted by Higher Education Suicide Prevention Coalition (HESPC) on April 1, 2025
We are excited to announce the 2025 annual conference of the Higher Education Suicide Prevention Coalition (HESPC). This year’s conference will be held on May 28th and 29th at the Live! Hotel in Philadelphia. While this is a departure from our regular model of hosting on a college campus, this location has numerous features for us to bring you the best conference experience possible: the hotel and conference space conveniently being under one roof, proximity to the PHL airport and attractions like Citizens Bank Park for the Phillies game, and a variety of food options within the facility, to name a few. As always, the conference will include insightful presentations and opportunities to connect with others who are working to prevent suicide on college campuses.
We are happy to announce our 2025 keynote speakers. Day 1 is Michelle Mullen, PhD SVP, Chief Design & Impact Officer for The Jed Foundation who will present on, “Enhancing Mental Health & Preventing Suicide: System Change on College Campuses”. Day 2 is Kenneth Ginsburg, MD, MD Ed, Co-founder and Director of the Center for Parent and Teen Communication who will present on, “The Healing and Regulating Power of Strength-based Human Connection”. In addition, we will have a variety of breakout presentations focused on programs, strategies, and other approaches to suicide prevention on campus. This conference is geared towards those on campus who have an investment in caring for the mental wellness of students, such as faculty, staff, and administration.
