2024 EPIC-Network Conference – Jun 23-25

Posted by EPIC-Network on April 2, 2024

If you’re interested in learning about how to connect your university or college to cities (or other local governments, like counties, school districts, villages, metro planning organizations, etc), join the EPIC-Network June 23-25 at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville (just outside the St. Louis Metro Area).

More about the conference is HERE.

More about EPIC-N is HERE.

There will be participants attending in-person from at least the United States and Mexico, but possibly more. Virtual participants will also join from several African and Latin American locations.

So many people have said that they miss the in-person interactions, so we’re delivering an in-person conference about a specific interest area: linking cities and universities. Be a part of a global network of universities who are the do-ers, the universities who are building public confidence in higher education, the universities who make things happen in communities!

Sessions: We just accepted presentations, and here’s a short list of some sessions you could look forward to:
  • Communicating Impact and Story-Telling to Targeted Audiences
  • Measuring and Monetizing Social Impact: A EPIC Method of Valuing Community Engagement and Partnership
  • Sustaining Hoosier Communities: How to Leverage the EPIC-N Model with Small Towns and Rural Places
  • One EPIC Program, Multiple Approaches: Comparative Overview of Two Alliances at the Universidad Veracruzana, Mexico
  • How can university-community partnerships leverage sustainable transitions in Latin America? Possibilities and Challenges
  • Leveraging Campus Communities of Practice: Supporting the individual AND institutional collaboration
  • Flipping the EPIC Model: How ASU Project Cities is Scaling in Inclusive Ways
  • Collaborative Badlands: Building University-Community Partnership in the Left-behind Region in Taiwan
