2024 Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement Meeting – Jun 5-7

The 2024 Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement meeting β a national conference for students, faculty, staff, administrators, and community partners interested in advancing the civic learning and democratic movement in higher education β will take place in Detroit, Michigan from June 5 – 7, 2024.
Conference sessions will focus on the following topics:
- Integrating justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility
- Incorporating experiential learning opportunities
- Ensuring sustainable campus-wide voter education and engagement
- Assessing institution-wide civic learning objectives
- Implementing curricular and pedagogical strategies
- Implementing co-curricular and programmatic strategies
- Expanding civic engagement beyond the institution
