TD Bank invites applications for 2023 TD Ready Challenge
TD Bank invites applications for its annual TD Ready Challenge, which supports organizations in developing innovative, impactful, and measurable solutions for a changing world.
The 2023 TD Ready Challenge is seeking innovative, scalable, and/or replicable solutions to help address systemic barriers to affordable housing across the continuum from transitional to permanent homes and help increase access to affordable and stable housing for those that need it most. Such solutions could be focused on but are not limited to one or more of the following: housing supply challenges, addressing construction and development costs homeownership, and financial education programs, innovative loans, and financing.
In 2023, up to 10 grants will be available under the TD Ready Challenge for Canada and the United States together. Eligible Canadian-based organizations may apply for C$1 million, and eligible U.S.-based organizations may apply for $1 million.
Eligible applicants include Canadian registered charities and not-for-profit organizations and U.S. charitable and not-for-profit organizations that meet the following criteria and can provide written confirmation of same: have received section 501(c)(3) determination from the Internal Revenue Service; are treated by the IRS as an organization that is not a private foundation as described in sections 509(a)(1),(2) or (3) of the Internal Revenue Code (the “IRS Code”); or are a local/state government organization.
