Challenge Overview
Each year, GreatPhillySchools creates and distributes a K-12 School Guide to over 20,000 students, families and partners throughout Philadelphia. These guides support families, caregivers and students as they find, compare and demand great schools. The cover of this guide is one of the first things we all see at the start of this selection process – the cover should welcome them to the process.
This year, Philadelphia students have a chance to design the cover of the 2023 K-12 School Guide! The theme of this cover is, “What makes your school great?” This challenge provides an opportunity to reflect on your school experiences, your lives as Philadelphia students, and your hopes for the future. The grand prize winner will have their design featured on this year’s 2023 K-12 School Guide in-print and online and receive a $150 gift card!
Eligibility Requirements: The challenge is open to all students enrolled in a school in Philadelphia. Students may enter on their own or with the support of a teacher. Each student may submit only one design.
Submissions are due by March 31, 2023.
