The PECO STEM Teaching Fellows Program is an intensive short-term teacher professional development series designed for Pennsylvania wide K-5 public, Archdiocesan, private, and home school teachers seeking to grow and deepen their knowledge and understanding of NGSS/STEEL standards. The Teaching Fellows will then produce and present a lesson plan which will incorporate these new standards.
The 6 sessions including the presentation session will take place virtually on Thursday afternoons from 3:30-5:30pm from mid-March through mid-May 2023. Applications are due Wednesday, March 1st with decisions emailed by Thursday, March 9th, 2023.
Completing the PECO STEM Teaching Fellows Program will provide critical professional development, and valuable relationships with STEM experts. Participants who complete the program will also receive Act 48 credits, a stipend, and assistance in creating their lesson plans.
