2023 Everyday Futures Fest during the Month of April
Posted by Da Vinci Art Alliance on April 4, 2023
The Everyday Futures Fest is a free community arts and science festival hosted each April around the city of Philadelphia and online.
The Everyday Futures Fest is a free community arts and science festival presented each April with a series of exhibitions, workshops, tours, panel discussions, interactive experiences, and more. The programming is concentrated around the intersections of Sustainability, specifically urban sustainability, environmental justice, and cultural identity. By hosting free events, workshops, panel discussion both in-person and via zoom, the Everyday Futures Fest is accessible for people of all ages and abilities. The festival is a space for experimentation, collaboration, and world building, with the intention of collaboratively envisioning and creating a better world. In 2023, we will be specifically targeting Sustainability in Craft and Community. We’re excited to open the door to talking more in depth about the materials we use and why, passing along and expanding upon traditional craft processes in intergenerational spaces, and how we can use craft to create spaces of care and connection.
Join us in 2023 for a series of exhibitions, workshops, tours, panel discussions, and more exploring the intersections of sustainability within craft and community.
