Across the country, AmeriCorps engages more than 75,000 Americans in intensive service each year at nonprofits, schools, public agencies, and community and faith-based groups. AmeriCorps produces a triple bottom-line: for those who serve, those who are served, and for Pennsylvania’s communities.
PennSERVE is announcing a Request For Applications for AmeriCorps State Grants. Grants are available for the operation of AmeriCorps programs by community and faith-based organizations, government agencies, and educational institutions.
PennSERVE will host a technical assistance session on September 7 from 2:00 – 3:30. Attendance is not required, but strongly encouraged. Please register to attend.
About PennSERVE: PennSERVE, Pennsylvania’s state service commission, encourages, develops, and facilitates volunteerism and service. In 2022, PennSERVE awarded approximately $17.5 million in federal funding to AmeriCorps programs. Through funding and support, PennSERVE engages Pennsylvania residents in strengthening our communities.
