2023-2024 Community of Practice, Facilitator Applications, PCCE – Apr 28

Posted by Partners for Campus-Community Engagement (PCCE) on March 21, 2023

Partners for Campus-Community Engagement (PCCE) is pleased to announce that we are seeking Community of Practice (CoP) facilitators for Fall 2023, Spring 2024 and Summer 2024. Facilitator candidates will be asked to participate in facilitator CoP trainings June 2023 in advance of the CoP’s launching 2023-2024.  Facilitator trainings will occur from 9am-1pm ET on the following Wednesdays in June: June 7th, June 14th, June 21st and June 28th. These trainings will provide the space for facilitators to meet their fellow facilitator cohort, explore best-practices, create inclusive learning environments,  implement innovative curriculum development and learn about facilitator expectations from PCCE colleagues and leaders within the field.  If you’re not available for these times, then you’ll not be eligible as an applicant for this round.

CoP participants within the region will receive an invitation to apply for their Fall 2023 CoP of choice during late July 2023/early August. Spring CoP participant applications will be shared in October 2023 and Summer 24 applications will be released in March 2024.

PCCE CoPs are typically bi-monthly throughout the semester and will consist of five to six, 90-minute virtual sessions based upon facilitators’ availability.  PCCE hopes to collaborate with facilitators who have some knowledge (not necessarily ‘expert’ status) and enthusiasm for the topic or theme of the CoP in which they will facilitate.  We ask that facilitator applicants select subject areas of interest which align with professional and/or personal experiences.  We welcome facilitators from higher education, non-profits and secondary education arenas.

Applications are due April 28th 5pm ET. Applicants will be notified by May 8th of their candidacy.
