2022 Teaching Artist Micro-Grant, Stockton Rush Bartol – Jan 30

Posted by Stockton Rush Bartol Foundation on January 11, 2022

As part of its support for teaching artists, the Bartol Foundation makes Teaching Artist Micro-Grant awards of $500 to help teaching artists complete community-based arts education projects that are underway and/or to support their own professional development during the Coronavirus pandemic and uprisings against systemic racism.

In the midst of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, we understand that some teaching artists are engaged in projects that engages their community, either virtually or in-person. Teaching artists may also require support as they pivot to present community programs virtually, with expenses that may include, for example, technical equipment or broadband access. Other teaching artists may use this time to strengthen their teaching artist practice, for example, by designing curriculum or building out their web presence.
