2022-2023 Pennsylvania AmeriCorps State Grants – Nov 2
Posted by PennSERVE on September 21, 2021
Across the country, AmeriCorps engages more than 80,000 Americans in intensive service each year at nonprofits, schools, public agencies, and community and faith-based groups. AmeriCorps produces a triple bottom-line: for those who serve, those who are served, and for Pennsylvania’s communities.
Grants are available for the operation of AmeriCorps programs by community and faith-based organizations, government agencies, and educational institutions.
A complete description of the funding opportunity and application requirements is available in PennSERVE’s 2022 – 2023 Pennsylvania AmeriCorps State Grants: Request for Applications.
This Request for Applications includes two opportunities to apply:
Fall funding – Program Operating Grants Only: If selected by PennSERVE, applications are submitted to the federal AmeriCorps agency to compete with other single state and multi-state applicants. Applications are due November 2 by 5:00 pm.
Spring Funding – Program Operating Grants and Planning Grants: Applicants compete with other applicants at the state level. PennSERVE anticipates releasing the spring request for applications in November 2021.
PennSERVE will host a technical assistance session for new applicants on October 15 from 2:00 – 3:30. Attendance is not required, but strongly encouraged. Please register to attend.
Additional sessions will be available when the Spring RFA is released.
