2021 TreeVitalize Watershed Grants, PA Horticultural Society
Posted by Pennsylvania Horticultural Society on October 6, 2020
PHS, in conjunction with the Conservation Districts of Bucks, Montgomery, Delaware, and Chester Counties, is pleased to announce that application materials are now available for 2021 TreeVitalize Watershed grants. This program supports tree plantings along streams, neighboring upland areas, and natural stormwater basins. The result is thousands of trees planted in sensitive water protection zones. This improves water quality and reduces flooding in addition to the many other benefits that trees provide.
Eligible organizations and landowners can apply for up to 75% of project costs through the program. More information, grant materials, and contact information for the grant advisors for each participating SE PA county can be found at PHS’s website: https://phsonline.org/programs/tree-programs/get-a-tree#Treevitalize%20Watersheds%20Grant%20Program.
All application materials must be submitted to your grant advisor by November 23rd, 2020.
TreeVitalize Watershed funding comes from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Aqua PA, and PECO.
