KidsGardening Invites Applications for 2020 Youth Garden Grants
Established in 1982, KidsGardening works to create opportunities for kids to play, learn, and grow through gardening, engaging their natural curiosity and wonder.
To advance this mission, the organization is inviting applications for its 2020 Youth Garden Grants program. Through the program, a total of twenty-five programs will be awarded a package valued at $775 that includes gardening supplies, curriculum, and a cash award of $250 in support of school and youth educational garden projects that enhance the quality of life for students and their communities. Projects may include planning a new garden program or expanding an established one and must serve at least fifteen youth between the ages of 3 and 18.
Eligible applicants include any nonprofit organization, public or private school, or youth program in the United States or U.S. territories.
See the KidsGardening website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
Deadline: December 16, 2019
