‘The Atlantic’ and Allstate Seek Nominations for 2020 Renewal Awards to Honor America’s Nonprofits
The Atlantic and Allstate are inviting nominations for the 2020 Renewal Awards.
Now in its fifth year, this nationwide competition celebrates local organizations that are developing creative solutions to America’s most pressing problems — and provides funding to help them make an even bigger impact.
Five winners will each receive $40,000 in funding over two years from The Atlantic and Allstate. In addition, one winner will be presented with the Allstate Youth Empowerment Award.
Following the December 10 nomination date, an initial group of fifty semifinalists will be identified. From that group, fifteen finalists will be selected in late February 2020. Five finalists will then be selected as winners and announced at the spring 2020 Renewal Summit in Chicago.
To be eligible, nominators must be 21 years of age or older at the time of entry and a legal resident of the fifty United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and the District of Columbia. Nominees must be nonprofits designated as tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
See The Atlantic website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
Deadline: December 3, 2019
