Grab your seat for the 2019 Fall Institute!
The Office of Adult Education invites you to attend the 2019 Fall Institute: Best Practices in Adult Education with the theme Cultivating Stronger, Skillful Learning Communities. Join us in recognizing and celebrating the role of community in the work of adult education tutors, teachers, and practitioners.
In community, we discover and share resources – materials, strategies and tolls that enable us to better serve adult learners. In community, we connect and collaborate to learn and share experiences. It is this strong sense of community that motivates volunteerism and it is the sense of belonging that gives purpose to our work. Learn from experts, share your experiences, ask questions, engage in meaningful conversations and make connections. The Fall Institute is hosted in partnership with District 1199C Training & Upgrading Fund to provide free professional development for Philadelphia’s adult education tutors, mentors, teachers and administrators.
